Available Courses This course assumes no previous programming experience. It is designed for people who are interested in programming and have heard (correctly) that C++ is a great programming language and most definetely an excellent one to start with. Pre- Course Introduction: The course starts with an introduction to computers where the basic concept of computing is lightly covered and students get a chance to have a basic idea of how a computer processes the information that it is given. Lesson 1: Theory: Brief Story of C++ and origins. Introduces the concept of Objects in the Real word. Students are also introduced to data types. Practical: Students are introduced to the C++ compiler (Borland) Compile demonstration, brief explanation about compiler, linker, source code to executable code process. Lesson 2: Theory: The smallest C++ program. Header Files & Namespaces. Statements, Syntax. Output/ Input. Basic Maths. Functions. Practical: Students write their first "Hello World" application.
